A message from Mrs Logue, Mrs Wallace and Miss Park:

Dear families,

We would like to thank you all for your continued support during this time. We understand the amount of stress and anxiety families are currently experiencing, and we would like to reassure you that you will be doing a great job – as school staff we do not want you to feel under any additional pressure.

Our teachers will continue to provide work for pupils (no new learning, but revision and extension of concepts already taught), but we appreciate that this might not be completed. Everyone’s circumstances will be different, and only you alone will know what will work for your own family.  You are under no obligation to complete the activities and if you have ideas of your own, please take those forward.

All we ask is that pupils check in with their teacher on a regular basis through SeeSaw, anything else they manage is a bonus.  Please see the second letter that accompanied this message.

The school is still here to you in any way possible. If you need to get in touch, you can email as normal to the school email address: kirklandneukenquiries@renfrewshire.gov.uk, and we will get back to you as soon as possible. You are also able to contact your child’s class teacher through SeeSaw.

Please do what is best for you and your family, there will be plenty of time for us to catch up on formal learning when we are all safely back in our school. In the meantime, stay safe and well and tell your children the staff are missing them all!

Take care.
😊
