Dear Parent/Carers;
I am pleased to inform you that Mrs Karen MacKechnie has been appointed as acting-head teacher for the school.
As she takes up her post, she will be supported in her transition into the school by our very hard-working Senior Management Team.
We are sure you will all get to know her over the next months as she leads the school through the adaptations around the COVID 19 restrictions.
She is currently supporting at the St James Hub school and will have lots of experience and ideas to share, along with our many teachers, classroom assistants and ASNAs who are working there regularly, too.
You will also be kept informed of the processes around the appointment of the permanent head teacher in the new session.
I wish Mrs MacKechnie the best and know she will enjoy getting to know your children while supporting the school.
